Started back in the 70's , Great time to become a Tattoo Artist, I was in Minnesota back in those days in Minneapolis,After leaving my home in La Puente in California where I spent most of my School years. My friend Neal Grant was a big influence on my start, as where Ed Hardy, Jack Rudy, Freddy Negrete, Paul Rogers,Bob Shaw and Col. Todd, so many others Paul Jeffries and the one and only Dutchman in Canada, Micky Sharpes and Lal Hardy in London and of course Hanky Panky in Amsterdam, along with Steve Johnson in New Zealand. I was also working on Tattoo Machines because in those days you had to be self sufficient, built my first out of aluminum that was a Boo Boo, I have lots of really good years in tattooing and met lots of great people both Artists and Clients, some really Famous from working in Hollywood and some not so Famous, worked all over the globe ,besides owning Very Successful Tattoo shops in Calif . But that's what I enjoy the most that( one on one) with clients and their differences, ideas ,backgrounds, etc. My favorite kind of work to do is Large Work(Period) Full Sleeves, Back Pieces, and especially Full Leg Sleeve. Full Color or Black and Grey Wash, either is fine with me. In the (Old days) we had a saying "Mild to Wild" and its still true today as it was back then.
